Substitute teachers positions available.

Pay rate = $110 per day.

To apply to be a substitute teacher in the Girard School District:

1) Must complete the online application process. Please start by clicking on the box located on the right side of this screen "APPLY FOR THIS POSITION".

2) Must stop by the Superintendent's office building to submit a copy of your Kansas license and fill out other application and payroll forms.

3) You are encouraged to stop by the office of each building you want to substitute so you can meet the secretary and principal.

Thanks for your interest in our school district.  Girard has a history of having very good substitute teachers to carry on teaching/learning when our regular teachers are absent.
